Depth Therapy

Depth therapy is for people who want to go beyond symptom management. Rather than focusing only on “how to feel better quickly”, we pay attention to the deeper structures of your emotional life: your history, your attachment patterns, the parts of you that defend or withdraw, and the long-standing themes that repeat.

People who come for this kind of work often say things like:

  • “On paper my life is fine, but I feel empty or disconnected.”

  • “I keep ending up in the same relationship dynamics.”

  • “I understand my problems logically, but nothing really changes.”

  • “I feel driven, perfectionistic or numb, and I don’t know how to stop.”

  • “There’s grief or shame in me that never quite shifts.”

Depth therapy is usually longer-term and once-weekly or more. This allows trust to develop and gives us space to work with what unfolds between us, not only what you report about your week. The therapy relationship becomes part of the work: patterns of closeness, distance, fear, longing and anger can be explored safely here.

This approach is not about diagnosing you as “broken”. It is about understanding why your mind learned to organise itself this way, and helping you develop a relationship with yourself that is more compassionate, honest and grounded.
